Here’s our chance to BE the HOPE and SHARE the HOPE with our neighbors in Western North Carolina.
Below is a list of the needs. We are constantly updating this list as we get word from people on the ground in the mountains.
Please bring any donations to the church fellowship center. It is best to contact us BEFORE coming - 704-932-8308. We may not be at the church but we will be more than happy to meet you there.
If you would like to ship things to the church by Amazon (or others), that is fine too. The address is 301 Bethpage Rd., Kannapolis, NC. 28081.

100% of all donations will go directly to the relief efforts in the NC Mountains.
We will be making several trips over the next few weeks so there is no deadline on these donations at this time. Our first trip will be the week of Oct. 7-11.
List of needs:
1. Water (lots and lots, you cannot bring too much)
2. Water filtration systems *** see example for this for individuals in the comments below… but also need larger capacity ones.
3. Camping Showers (lots - power will be out for most residents for an estimated six weeks) *** example from Amazon in comments***
3b. Soaps, shampoos
4. Wipes (also for bathing purposes)
5. Diapers
6. Toilet paper and toiletries
7. Underwear and socks (new only)
8. Canned Food
8b. Manual can openers***
9. Nonperishables
10. Foods individually wrapped (poptarts, beef jerky, snack bars)
11. Gas cans
12. Blankets and pillows
13. Feminine products
14. Energy drinks and gatorades for lineworkers
15. Generators - many stores are out but check pawn shops, etc.
16. Dry pet foods
17. Antiseptics, antibiotic creams, first aid kits
18. Toys for kids - any age
19. Handwritten cards to brighten someone's day
MOST OF ALL, in addition to all of this, PLEASE STORM THE GATES OF HEAVEN WITH YOUR PRAYERS.
Pray for energy, rest, and SAFETY for the workers.
Pray for rescue for those in need.
Pray for necessities to be able to get in.
Pray for peace in the midst of the storm.
Pray for the months and years of rebuilding to come.

We LOVE to come together on Sunday mornings for singing, prayer, worship, praise, digging into God's Word, and fellowship. Here's some information about what a typical Sunday might look like at KFWC (Kannapolis First Wesleyan Church). We'd love to have you join us!
Our morning service begins at 10:45am each Sunday, both in-person and online. We have a coffee bar in the lobby of the church and a place to gather there. Grab a cup of coffee and enjoy some great conversation before the service begins. You'll see people dressed in anything from jeans and a t-shirt to a suit and tie. There will be greeters to say hello, show you around, and answer any questions you may have. If this will be your first time visiting with us, you can plan your visit HERE, and be sure you let our greeters know when you arrive so they can give you a small gift from us.

They are also stored there so you can go back and watch them at another time.
Our First Kids Ministry meets on Sunday mornings at the same time as the morning worship service.
Our youngest children, infants through 3 years old are cared for in our Small World nursery.
Children ages 3 years old through 5th grade have their service downstairs in our Adventure World.
For the safety of your children and our workers, you can check your children in just before service at the check in area at the entrance to both of these places, and check them out afterwards.
Our greeters will be more than happy to show you where both of these areas are located
and help you get your children checked in.
