PLAN YOUR VISIT

You and your family are welcome to join us at First Wesleyan!  We want to make your visit as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.  Just to help you out, we thought we would give you a heads-up about what to expect on your first visit.  Here are some answers to questions you might have:

What should I wear?  You should feel free to dress comfortably.  There will be people at church in jeans and a t-shirt, but there will also be some in suit jackets.  A couple of our women even like to wear hats.  So you will see a wide range of styles.  Just be comfortable.

Where should I go?  The best place to enter the church is at the Bethpage Rd. entrance.  There is parking on both sides of the church as well as in the back.  There is also another entrance on Richard Ave.

If you have children (ages 3 through 5th grade), there is a special, secure entrance for them at the back of the church.  You can enter there and get your children checked in and dropped off with our First Kids Staff.  Then they will show you the way upstairs to the main sanctuary for the worship service.

If you do not have children with you, or you have infant children through 3 years old, it is easiest for you to enter through the front entrance facing Bethpage Rd.  There will be greeters at the front doors to welcome you in, answer any questions, and point you in the right direction.  If this is your first time with us, please be sure you see one of those greeters and let them know.  We have a small gift for you as a token of our appreciation for your visit.

(There is a campus map provided at the bottom of this page.)

Where do my kids go?  This information is covered in the section above entitled "Where should I go?" ***On Easter Sunday morning, all children ages 3 years old through 5th grade will be joining us in the sanctuary for the worship service.  There will be some special activities designed just for them to enjoy.

What should I expect in the Worship Service?  You will be part of a multi-generation group of people who are gathered together to worship.  We will sing together, pray together, and learn together.  You will be encouraged and challenged through a message from God's Word given about the HOPE we have in Jesus Christ.

We hope to see you this Sunday at First Wesleyan Church!  Do you have any other questions?  Feel free to contact us at office@kfwc.org or call us at 704-932-8308.  As you are preparing to visit us, please go to our Plan Your Visit Card HERE and complete it ahead of time.  This will help us be prepared for your visit and stay in contact with you afterwards.  It also helps us if you are bringing children, to list their names.  We look forward to meeting you!
