Rev. SCott wheeler - lead pastor and

rev. Selina Wheeler - connections & discipleship pastor

Pastors Scott and Selina have been in ministry together now for more than 18 years, with Scott serving about 25 total.  Before pastoring, they were both elementary school teachers.

Both Scott and Selina love being back in Kannapolis and serving this community.  Kannapolis is home to Selina, an alum of A.L. Brown High School, KMS, Carver Jr. HS, and Shady Brook Elementary.  Scott, a native of Kings Mountain, met Selina at Southern Wesleyan University.  The two were married soon after graduation and moved to Kannapolis.

Scott served KFWC as Youth Pastor for about 7 years before taking Lead Pastor positions at a couple of other churches.  The two returned to KFWC in 2014 and are loving seeing the growth in the church and the community as well.  "We know God has some great things in store for Kannapolis and we are excited to be a part of what He is doing here, in and through KFWC."

Scott's goal in life is to be "Jesus with skin on," and to lead others to be able to do this as well.  Selina desires to see people be all they were created to be in Jesus.

The Wheelers have been blessed with three children, Jonathan, Zachary, and Mallory, two daughter-in-laws, Kaylee, and Katie, and one BEAUTIFUL grand baby, Charlotte!  All of their children serve in ministry in other Wesleyan churches except Mallory, who will soon head off to college to prepare to take her place in ministry as well.

Scott loves to sing and play golf.  The two love spending time with their family when they can all get together.  And Scott's all time favorite thing right now is to watch "Bluey" with his granddaughter.
